| The day started off cloudy, but it soon burned off an turned into a beautiful day. Took a long time to find the fish on this large water, but then had some fun. Missed a lot of hits that may have been small bass, but I didn't land any bass so I can't confirm. |

| Our 2nd water of the 2017 Xplorer UHTFC Festival. A huge water fished in tough conditions with rain and wind. Found the fish on the far bank. Lost one beauty, otherwise landed all stockies. |

| Fished Lake Madingofani, this time off a boat. Worked my way around the fringes with no luck, but it was perhaps too early in the day. Again there was an evening rise at 5pm and I picked up fish on a white death. |
